Funds raised through TDC's 2024 benefit auction will provide critical support for our ambitious roster of exhibitions, publications, education initiatives, and public programs. Bidding begins on Monday, September 16 at 12pm EST, and closes on Monday, September 30 at 8:30pm EST.

Tiffany Lin (b. 1988, Santa Clara, California) works at the cross section of graphic narrative, independent publishing, and social practice. She earned her MFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art and her BA from University of California, Berkeley. Drawing from her background as a professional illustrator and love for underground music, she depicts tensions between human instincts versus institutions and anxious visions of dystopia.

 

Her work has been presented at numerous venues, including Nook Gallery, Richmond Art Center, San Jose International Airport, Stanford University (CA); Halcyon Arts (DC); Walters Art Museum (MD); Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art, Goldwell Open Air Museum, Holland Project (NV); Asian Arts Initiative, Little Berlin (PA); CUSP Gallery, Knockdown Center, and Wassaic Project (NY). Lin is the recipient of numerous awards and fellowships, including a major grant from Nevada Humanities/National Endowment for the Humanities. From 2019 – 2023, Lin served as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She currently lives and works in Los Angeles.
