Robert Duncan was a path-breaking poet who taught at Black Mountain College and worked to foster a renaissance in post War American art and letters. The late Lawrence Ferlinghetti once said, “Duncan had the finest ear this side of Dante.” Duncan produced many crayon drawings beginning in the 1940s.
