This year's benefit auction and exhibition, "The World Is The Work", brings together artists, curators, and art lovers from The Drawing Center's community. Each guest curator will present a selection of five or more works on paper by artists they admire. Works will be on view at The Drawing Center from October 7 through October 11, and will be available for purchase through a silent auction benefiting The Drawing Center and participating artists. Bidding will begin on September 29 at 12:00 pm ET and end on October 14 at 12:00 pm ET. The Drawing Center rbrickman@drawingcenter.org

Noah Barker is an artist based in New York. Recent solo exhibitions have been held at Neue Berliner Kunstverein, Berlin, 2026; Fanta-MLN, Milan, 2026 (2023); Air de Paris, Paris, 2025; Lodos, Mexico City, 2025; Jacqueline, Athens, 2024; Weiss Falk, Basel, 2024. His work has recently been included in group exhibitions at Weils, 2026; Kunstverein Braunschweig, 2025; Bergen Kunsthalle, 2024; Air de Paris, Paris, 2023; Museion, Bolzano, 2024; Simian, Copenhagen, 2023; The Wig, Berlin, 2023; HALLE FÜR KUNST Steiermark, Graz, 2023. As a writer, Barker contributes to Texte Zur Kunst, May Revue, and Mousse Magazine.
