Matthew Higgs (b. 1964) is an artist and curator based in New York. He is currently the Director of the New York non-profit gallery White Columns. Higgs has shown his own work internationally since the early 1990s and he was represented by New York's iconic Murray Guy gallery between 1998 and 2017. He has had exhibitions at Anthony Wilkinson Gallery, London; Jack Hanley Gallery, Los Angeles; China Art Objects, Los Angeles; and The Green Gallery, Milwaukee, among others. His work is in the permanent collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, and Tate, London.
