J Grabowski (b. 1978 in New York City) is an artist whose practice explores writing, drawing, painting, sculpture, movement, and music. He has exhibited at Off Paradise (The Secret Show (2021), Some Kind of Mind Thing (2022), Like a Nightingale with a Toothache (2024)), The Church of St. Paul the Apostle, The NYPL Jefferson Market Library, Gathering of the Tribes, Museo de la Ciudad de México and Fuse Gallery. His work had been published by Ugly Duckling Presse, Bird & Beckett, the Berkeley Art Museum and is held in the collections of Barry Rosen, Beth Rudin DeWoody, and the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library. Grabowski cofounded PUSH Press, the Heliopolis Project (2010-2015) and POMPEI.
