Born in Flatbush in the second year of WW2, 1942. My Irish mother and German father moved to Levittown in 1948. I failed the 3 years of middle school surviving by 3 years of summer school. Saved by art class where I drew planes and cars all day. Went to Parsons and Pratt for industrial design. Realized my dream of sexual intercourse and lost my Catholic faith. Quit school and talked my way into the grad program at San Francisco Art Institute. Two years ago, I returned to the city. Got lucky with real estate and galleries for some decades. I paint every day where things have gotten a lot clearer.
