Saanp Seedhi or Moksha Patam is the original of what we know as Snakes and Ladders. Originally devised as a spiritual guide to the players’ Karma or progress through life, it contains a number of Mantras within each square. Its common form is within the Jain and Hindu tradition and this version is unusual in the depiction of a Mosque-like dome at the pinnacle.
